This Museum Exhibit is for Lovers of the Food Truck

L.A.’s Autry Museum is hosting a Flavors series that focuses on food from the west and the history of food trucks. Food trucks have been pretty trendy as of late for easy and fun lunchtime dining options, but they actually date back to the chuck wagons from the 1880’s. AKA: the cowboy days.

In addition to learning about the history that surrounds the food truck, there will also be food tasting stations offering historic snacks like oyster cocktails and tamales. What better way to learn about the history of food than to eat a bunch of it? Sounds like a decent evening to us.

The event will be held on Friday, February 23 at 7PM at Griffith Park’s Autry Museum. Tickets cost $65 for non-members and $55 for members. The museum itself is open Tuesday to Friday from 10AM to 4PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10AM to 5PM.
